The Kingsport Kingdom Center Project Proposal

The Kingsport Kingdom Center project Proposal: Amber A. Altizer

Thank you for the opportunity to present a vision that I believe has the power to bring lasting change to our community. I come before you with a passionate heart and a humble spirit, seeking your partnership to create something transformative for the families and children in our city—a place where faith, connection, and hope can flourish.

The Kingsport Kingdom Center is not just an idea; it is a solution to the challenges that many families in our community face every day. We live in a time where financial struggles, societal pressures, and broken relationships are creating unstable households. Too often, our children are caught in the crossfire of these challenges, exposed to drug abuse, neglect, and trauma that robs them of their God-given potential.

This is where we, as leaders and agents of change, can make a difference. The Kingsport Kingdom Center will be a beacon of hope, a community space designed to encourage social connection, physical health, and spiritual growth. This center will foster relationships among families, schools, churches, and organizations, built on the foundational truth that we are all created in the image of God. Our purpose is to reflect His goodness, His will, and His love as we serve our neighbors and lift one another up.

The vision for this center includes:

A large, multi-functional space with three key areas:

1. A roller-skating rink to promote physical health and provide a fun, safe activity for all ages.

2. A theater and fellowship hall where families can gather, learn, and build stronger connections, and creatively produce plays and musicals.

3. A dance hall offering after-school programs like clogging, line dancing, and square dancing, providing opportunities for underprivileged children who might not otherwise have access to such activities. Also offering Saturday evening family fun dances.

4. The main level of the facility will be constructed to have several office spaces to rent to outside businesses for additional revenue.

The Kingsport Kingdom Center will be a safe haven where families can come together, find encouragement, and build lasting relationships. Through fellowship events, dance classes, skating nights, and after-school programs, we will create opportunities for children and families to thrive.

But this is more than just a community center; it is a Kingdom mission. We aim to encourage families to look upward, seek the Kingdom of Heaven, and live by the principles of love, grace, and truth. In a world where division and confusion seem to reign, we must remind our community of God’s original plan for humanity: to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbors as ourselves.

This vision also challenges us to address deeper societal issues. We know the enemy seeks to kill, steal, and destroy, and we see this manifest in ideologies and practices that distort God’s truth. As Kingdom citizens, we have a responsibility to stand firm in love and truth, bringing light to a world in darkness. We must nurture our children with the knowledge that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, equipping them to live out their God-given purpose.

I am calling on you—leaders, believers, and change agents—to partner with me in making this vision a reality. Together, we can create a place that embodies the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth, a place where families are strengthened, children are nurtured, and communities are united.

Let us come together to build the Kingsport Kingdom Center, not just as a building, but as a movement. A movement that prioritizes faith, love, and service. A movement that reminds us of the hope we have in Christ. And a movement that shows our community—and the world—that when we seek first the Kingdom of Heaven, all things will be added unto us.

Thank you, and may God bless this mission and our community as we move forward together.
